Jane Killion’s PUPPY CULTURE Protocols

One of my favorite dog training activities is helping friends with newborn and very young puppies.  For a number of years, pioneers such as Ian Dunbar and Carmen Battaglia have taught us about developmentally appropriate mental and social stimulation.  We now have several widely accepted procedures for stimulating neuronal development for our puppies, so that they have every opportunity to become first-rate companions and performance partners.

This past year, Bull Terrier breeder and judge Jane Killion published a four-DVD set that brings together current and brand new practices, backed up with sound research by legitimate experts. Jane demonstrates priceless exercises through the puppies‘ eleventh week.  You can see how to set up problem-solving challenges at appropriate stages.  The emotional resilience exercises and bite inhibition demos are unique and very valuable for those of us with potentially mouthy breeds.

Look at the PuppyCulture.com website to get more information.  To me, the DVD set is essential for anyone anticipating a litter of any breed of dog.  Jane has been very generous in sharing her procedures for the good of all our dogs.  I have found her guidance invaluable.

Happy puppy raising!
